Ruislip Lido is a reservoir and artificial beach in Ruislip. There are very well maintained pathways with armed running circuit, great playground for kids, clean beach, miniature railway open at weekends for rides, fitness area, plus a fitness trail, two good cafes on-site plus a large restaurant, toilets available all areas including the car park.
Ruislip Lido is one of my favourite places in the world, it has something for everyone, whether you want to chill in front of the scenic views of the lake and the woodlands with a drink, or go back to your childhood as you ride the mini steam train & engage in some sandplay on the man-made beach!
Lovely walk all round on good pathways & through pleasant woodland as well As water views. There are many Waterfront picnic tables as well as those on grasses areas. The steam train runs quite regularly but checks the timetable because it may be closed on certain days. It’s a perfect day out for the whole family.
A good place to go with family. Lots of attractions for kids, a good place to spend time together and have a good time with your family.
